About the Role

The role would primarily be based in the firm's Edinburgh office. The work would involve all aspects of private client work with a family office focus acting for some of their largest and longstanding landed estate family clients. They would also support you through the STEP qualification.

Responsibilities

• Meeting clients and advising on wills and powers of attorney, drafting these and arranging for execution of these documents
• Succession, asset protection and tax planning advice
• Drafting and advising on trusts, including ongoing trust administration and winding up
• Exposure to executry administration
• Participating in the business development initiatives of the department and the firm
• Supporting knowledge management for the department and involvement in new technical solutions for our bigger private clients

Qualifications

• 0 – 4 years PQE, with a strong interest in private client work

Required Skills

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong client care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
