Role | Private Client Solicitor

Experience | 3–7 PQE

Based | Berkhamsted

Offer | £50,000 - £70,000 per annum


A growing regional law firm is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its Berkhamsted office. The role sits within a well-regarded private client team handling a wide range of matters for individuals and families.


Applications are welcomed from solicitors with around 6–7 years’ PQE, although those with 3–4 years’ PQE and strong pre-qualification experience in private client work will also be considered.


Duties

  • Advising on wills, probate and estate administration
  • Assisting clients with inheritance tax and estate planning matters
  • Drafting wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney
  • Managing files from instruction through to completion
  • Building relationships with clients and referrers


Successful Candidate

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in private client work
  • Strong understanding of wills, probate and estate planning
  • Ability to handle matters with a high level of client care
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic about developing within a private client team
