Private Client Solicitor/Associate/Senior Associate – Brighton, East Sussex 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate  / Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked Private Client Advisory team based in Brighton, with hybrid working options available. This role offers the chance to work with a collaborative and high-performing team advising high-net-worth individuals and families.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As an Associate/Senior Associate, you will provide expert guidance to clients on the following areas:

• Legal and tax aspects of estate and succession planning.
• Trusts created during a lifetime or by will.
• Tax planning, estate administration and post-death planning.

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

\n
• A strong background in advising on and managing complex wills, probate, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorney and estate administration
• Experience in lifetime inheritance tax (IHT) planning and the taxation and administration of trusts
• Exceptional financial discipline and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and external professionals
• Empathy and compassion to guide clients through personal and challenging circumstances
• Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members
• A passion for business development and building client relationships
• Familiarity with the private client markets in West Sussex or Hampshire (desirable, but not essential)

This role is ideally suited to a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
