\nJOB TITLE: Private Client Solicitor
\nPQE REQUIRED: 5+
\nLOCATION: Dorset
\nSALARY: Up to £55,000 DOE

\nOVERVIEW:
\n• Manage a varied private client caseload, including: Wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, probate and estate administration and Court of Protection applications.
\n• Advise clients on a range of private client matters.
\n• Liaise with external bodies, including the Land Registry, HMCTS and HMRC.
\n• Prepare estate accounts.
\n• Ensure accurate, efficient and compliant case management.
\n• Lead, develop and support the private client team.
\n• Provide guidance, supervision and appropriate delegation of work.
\n• Review work for accuracy compliance, and quality.
\n• Promote a collaborative, client focused team culture.
\n• Support and mentor junior colleagues.
\n• Encourage best practice and maintain high service standards across the department.

\nTHE CANDIDATE:
\n• At least 5 years’ PQE in private client work.
\n• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload while leading a small team.
\n• Excellent client care skills.
\n• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
\n• Strong IT skills; experience with case management systems advantageous.
\n• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
\n• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
\n• Local residency desirable.
