This is a compelling opportunity for someone who is genuinely excited by the lower mid-market, enjoys working with founders, and wants to take on meaningful responsibility early in their career.What the job involvesSupporting senior investment professionals across all aspects of the deal lifecycleConducting detailed market research and target identification, particularly within lower mid-market opportunitiesBuilding and reviewing financial models, valuations, and investment materialsSupporting due diligence processes and preparing investment committee papersEngaging directly with management teams, advisors, and other stakeholdersContributing to portfolio company initiatives, including strategic projects, M&A, and performance monitoringWho we are looking forPrevious Associate level experience within private equity, investment banking or corporate financeStrong financial modelling and analytical skillset, with a solid understanding of accounting principlesDemonstrable interest in the lower mid-market, with an appreciation for working with founder-led and scaling businessesExposure to technology, software, or tech-enabled services is highly advantageousA professional qualification such as ACA, CFA (or equivalent) is highly desirableCommercially astute, with the ability to assess markets, business models, and growth dynamicsHigh attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative, proactive, and intellectually curious, with a genuine desire to learn and developComfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial team environment with high levels of responsibility
