Who we’re looking for

4 PQE up to Partner level Able to run your own private family caseload Commercially minded with strong billing habits Positive, proactive and open‑minded Enjoys flexibility and remote work Strong communicator, confident with client conversations Legal 500 experience (desired but not essential) Full‑time or part‑time (minimum 3 days per week)

What you’ll be doing

Manage a caseload of private family law matters Deliver commercially aware, client‑centred advice Build strong relationships and contribute to establishing the brand locally Maintain accurate time recording and billing Work within a national family team across Manchester, London and LeedsFocus solely on fee earning — no BD, no advocacy Participate in team video calls and receive remote support and mentoring

Salary & Benefits

£60,000–£90,000 depending on experience 1 day per week in the Birmingham office (or once a fortnight/month depending on distance) Option to work 4 days and get paid for 5 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (higher allowances possible depending on performance) One‑week Christmas shutdown Hybrid/flexible working Clear and fast progression No BD and no advocacy - fully supported by marketing and a sales director Highly modern, tech‑forward firm Senior pairing for support when working remotely Strong wellbeing support, family‑first culture
