Process Operative Permanent, Full-Time Aston, Birmingham 40 hours per week (shift-based) Up to £30,000
We are currently recruiting for a Process Operative on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are processed efficiently and supplied to packaging lines while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene at all times.
The Role As a Process Operative, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out a variety of process operations including fermentation preparation, product filtration, syrup make-up, and bright tank preparation Operating key machinery such as pasteurisers and supporting the loading/unloading of tankers Accurately inputting production data into internal systems (SAP) Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with production schedules to meet daily output targets Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across the work area Adhering to strict health, safety, and quality procedures within a regulated production environment Shift Patterns This role operates on a rotating shift basis to meet business needs, including:
Mornings: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm Afternoons: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm Nights: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am Please note- you will only be on Mornings and afternoons shifts roughly for 6 moths whilst being trained.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or process environment (desirable) Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a proactive approach Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Computer literate, with experience using systems such as SAP being advantageous Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and shift patterns What’s On Offer
