At Tarmac, were proud to build the foundations of the UK, and were looking for an experienced Process Operator to help us power our operations at our Dunbar Cement Plant. What Youll Be Doing As a key member of our Operations Team, youll play a critical role in the safe and efficient running of the plant. Working both in the field and alongside the Control Room, youll be responsible for keeping our production processes stable, compliant, and optimised. Your day-to-day activities will include (but arent limited to): Monitoring automated performance of the pre-heater, kiln feeder, rotary kiln burner, calciner, exhaust gases, emissions and cooler processes Adjusting and optimising the production process to maintain output and quality within specification Supporting start-ups, shutdowns, and responding to operational issues Conducting field inspections, troubleshooting blockages, housekeeping, and supporting general maintenance Entering and validating operational and production data in plant software systems Reporting any incidents, abnormalities or deviations through the correct channels Reviewing equipment conditions against job plans and operational standards Ensuring Tarmacs strict Health,...
