Location: Newcastle Shift Pattern: Rotating 3-shift system (Monday-Friday)

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their established team at their Newcastle site, supporting high-speed manufacturing operations on a rotating shift basis.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification Take appropriate and timely actions to ensure the delivery of high-quality finished products to customers Identify and analyse high-risk activities, trends, and events within the production process Work proactively with manufacturing teams, using data-driven insights and personal initiative Act as a central point of contact for customer-related and plant quality issues Support quality standards across multiple work areas, working flexibly where safety and competence allow

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

Proven experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment Background in high-speed production environments Strong knowledge of ISO standards, SPC (Statistical Process Control), HACCP, and Continuous Improvement methodologies Confident using data, systems, spreadsheets, and databases to support quality decisionsDesirable:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical discipline
