We’re looking for an experienced and driven Process Technologist Manager to lead the development and delivery of our functional shot and beverage ranges – from concept to launch and beyond.

You’ll work across every corner of our innovation and production ecosystem – bridging the gap between NPD, Quality, Production, and our retail partners. You’ll ensure every product is robustly trialled, technically sound, scalable and compliant – and ultimately ready to delight our customers at pace and at scale.

The responsibilities.

As our Process Technologist Manager, you will:

Concept to Launch

• Translate kitchen recipes into factory-ready formulations

• Deliver scalable, compliant products that meet our innovation and quality standards

• Own the NPD critical path and technical handovers from concept to launch

Scale-Up & Technical Project Management

• Gatekeep all process deliverables across project timelines and milestones

• Plan and manage upcoming launches with clear 3–6-month critical paths

• Troubleshoot process risks and keep all stakeholders aligned on timelines and expectations

Trial Execution & Innovation Delivery

• Lead factory trials for both NPD and EPD (Existing Product Development)

• Manage data, trial results, artwork approvals, and post-trial learnings

• Maintain action logs and coordinate with suppliers, agencies and customers

Process Optimisation

• Develop and update SOPs, batch sheets, and process specs

• Test new ingredients and formats with NPD, Quality and Procurement teams

• Drive improvements in efficiency, cost and quality

Product Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Run taste panels and batch assessments to uphold quality standards

• Track sensory performance and escalate product issues early

• Monitor and respond to complaints, identify root causes and feed insights into process improvements

Customer & Retailer Collaboration

• Lead customer-facing meetings, trials and feasibility conversations

• Interpret briefs into scalable process solutions that deliver on brand and retailer expectations

Cross-Functional Impact

• Partner with Ops, Procurement, Technical and QA to align on scale-up and compliance

• Ensure food safety and legal requirements are embedded throughout

• Contribute to sustainability and efficiency projects

The skillset.

• Strong experience in food & beverage process technology

• Proven success in bringing products from concept to launch

• Track record of working with UK retailers and branded products

• Knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, GMP and food safety legislation

• Skilled in technical documentation and retailer systems

• Confident project manager and data interpreter

• Experience leading factory trials and navigating fast-paced critical paths
