EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We are looking for an experienceProcurement and Payments Accountant to join our Finance Team, at our Head Office in Coventry.

As the Procurement and Payments Accountant, you’ll be responsible for conducting monthly compliance audits, balance sheet reconciliations, and delivering high-quality reporting through a compliance dashboard.

You’ll perform supplier statement reconciliations to maintain clean AP ledgers, lead on transformation projects and process improvements, and enhance the control environment by challenging existing practices.

Strong stakeholder management is key, as you’ll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and streamline processes. You’ll also lead weekly communications focused on Ariba and ECC invoice issues, while developing your expertise in SAP, Ariba, and the wider Procurement and Payments function

To succeed in the role you will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a curious, analytical mindset.

Previous experience in procurement and/or Finance is essential, along with the ability to manage deadlines and maintain high standards.

You’ll need strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is expected, and familiarity with SAP ECC and Ariba is desirable.
