I am supporting a well-established and widely recognised FMCG brand that is currently investing heavily in the development of its procurement function.
The organisation is undergoing a significant shift towards a more structured, high performance and value adding procurement model.
As part of this transformation, the business is looking to introduce several Category Buyers who will join the team during an exciting period of change and development.
Working closely with senior procurement leadership, you will support category management activities, supplier engagement and sourcing initiatives while developing your commercial and strategic procurement capability.
The broader objective of the team is to build a modern procurement function with strong governance, clear processes and the capability to deliver long term value to the organisation.
This role offers excellent exposure across a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will suit someone keen to accelerate their procurement career.
What they are looking for:
The organisation is particularly interested in individuals with around 1 to 3 years procurement, supply chain or commercial experience who demonstrate strong potential and the right mindset.

* Commercial awareness and analytical thinking
* Confidence working with internal stakeholders and suppliers

Specific category expertise is not essential. The focus is on identifying motivated individuals who want to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.
This role forms part of a broader procurement hiring plan, with several additional roles expected to be created across the function over the coming months.
