Summary:
eXmoor Pharma is the only integrated cell and gene therapy CDMO with over 20 years of consultancy expertise embedded across every stage of the CMC journey — from early-phase strategy to process development, GMP manufacturing and commercialisation. We provide comprehensive support across Viral Vectors, Autologous and Allogeneic Cell Therapies, and RNA technologies. This integrated model enables seamless progression from early-phase strategy through to commercial readiness.
We are looking for an individual with experience with procurement and inventory functions for life sciences laboratories and manufacturing sites. This Coordinator will support our growing team and eXmoor’s expansion in Process Development and other business areas.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with eXmoor’s globally recognised team of scientists, consultants and engineers, on a wide range of Client projects in a rapidly growing market.
Job Description:
Job Purpose:
You will actively support eXmoor’s Process Development and GMP laboratories, by supporting the team on a range of procurement and logistics activities – from initial supplier management all the way through to inventory management in the warehouse, to help ensure timely delivery of materials for client projects.
You will also be contributing any necessary improvements to procurement & warehousing processes and coordinating with key stakeholders and other departments, in line with business objectives.
Main areas of responsibility/key duties:
- Supporting on the range of procurement and inventory activities, to help ensure successful project outcomes:
- Procurement planning: coordinate with stakeholders, to help plan the procurement and logistics of project and overhead materials, equipment and services.
- Assisting with supplier management
- Maintaining supplier information, goods catalogues, prices and general communication with suppliers.
- Raising and submitting POs and PO amendments.
- Tracking orders.
- Expediting goods, as required.
- Warehousing: processing deliveries, maintenance of inventory information storage management, project and Year End stock takes and close-out activities.
- Billing queries: coordinating with Finance to support billing reconciliation.
- Maintenance: coordinating with the Maintenance team and Finance to ensure Fixed Assets are procured, received and managed to specification.
- Highlighting and managing any risks to operation.
- Working with procurement & inventory software.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of improvements to Procurement and inventory operations, in line with business objectives and QMS requirements.
- Comply with eXmoor QMS and H&S policy.
Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum BSc in a Life Science, Bioengineering, Finance or related degree.
- Knowledge of procurement lifecycle, systems and processes.
- Knowledge of life sciences/ bioprocessing equipment and consumables.
- Proficiency with maths and computer skills, including MS Office, particularly Excel.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous procurement and/or inventory experience within life sciences.
- Experience with ERP systems eg Oracle, SAP
- Experience of GMP Procurement and/ or Warehousing
- Full UK driving licence
