Hybrid (Bristol area)

£50,000 - £60,000 DOE

Permanent, Full-time


A rapidly growing technology manufacturer is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support the sourcing and supply of critical components used in the build of advanced computing systems.


The Procurement Manager will take ownership of purchasing strategy, supplier management, and cost control across a range of electronic and mechanical components.

This position is central to ensuring production continuity, maintaining strong supplier partnerships, and responding effectively to market fluctuations within global electronics supply chains.


Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or equivalent professional qualification (CIPS desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in supplier negotiation and contract management
  • Understanding of BOM structures, ERP/MRP systems, and production supply planning
  • Exposure to global sourcing, logistics, or import/export processes is beneficial
  • Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting


Desirable Experience

  • Procurement experience within electronics, computing, or other high-tech industries
  • Familiarity with semiconductor-driven supply markets
  • Experience supporting cost-reduction or operational improvement programmes
  • ERP proficiency and strong systems capability
