£115,000–£140,000 FTE | Start ASAP


An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Solicitor to join a top‑ranked commercial practice at our client, a leading Top 30 City law firm on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.


This position offers high‑quality work, exposure to major public and utilities sector matters, and the chance to work alongside a partner recognised for handling complex, high‑value procurement projects across the UK and internationally. The Role

As an Associate within this specialist procurement team, you will:

  • Support the delivery of significant procurement mandates across public sector, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
  • Advise on a wide range of regulated procurement matters, including competitive processes, contract design, and compliance.
  • Contribute to contentious procurement matters, with the ability to take responsibility for elements of live disputes where required.
  • Work collaboratively with cross‑disciplinary teams on large‑scale commercial transactions and strategic projects.
  • Engage with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, reflecting the team’s strong international footprint.


About You

  • 3+ PQE with strong experience in public procurement from a non-contentious or contentious background.
  • A proactive, commercially‑minded approach and the confidence to work on high‑value matters with multiple stakeholders.
  • The ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to support both advisory and contentious workstreams.
  • Common‑law qualified solicitors are welcome to apply.
