Procurement Specialist – Manchester/Hybrid - £35,000 - £45,000

Elevation Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing financial institution and who are looking to recruit a Procurement Specialist to join their team.

This newly created exciting role will see you managing supplier relationships, risk, and operational oversight across the company’s procurement activity.

The Role

As the Procurement Specialist, you will:

• Own supplier due diligence, onboarding checks, and control execution
• Identify, track, and escalate supplier and third-party risks
• Ensure governance, documentation, and evidence meet regulatory expectations
• Maintain procurement systems, MI, alerts, and data management
• Manage supplier, contract, materiality, and outsourcing registers
• Run day-to-day procurement workflows and provide reporting for internal and external stakeholders

The Person

• Demonstrate experience in procurement operations, risk, or supplier management
• Manage supplier due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing control activities
• Identify, track, and escalate supplier and third-party risks effectively
• Maintain accurate procurement data
• Run procurement workflows, including renewals and approvals
• Produce timely MI and reporting for internal and external audiences
• Work confidently within governance frameworks and regulatory standards
• Use procurement systems, tools, or data platforms effectively
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to provide clear operational visibility
