Salary: £50,000 – £55,000

Reporting to: Head of Operations

The Role

WE Talent are recruiting for a commercially driven Procurement & Supply Chain Manager on behalf of our client, a fast-growing technical building products business.

This hands-on, strategic role will lead the stock-based procurement function, build a resilient and scalable supply chain, optimise costs, and strengthen supplier partnerships. You’ll report to the Head of Operations and work closely across Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and Product Development.

Applicants must live within 40 minutes of Hatfield and have proven experience managing stocked technical products ideally within HVAC, M&E, or building products distribution.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead procurement strategy and deliver cost savings, margin improvements, and commercial value

* Own stock-based procurement, maintaining optimal inventory and demand planning

* Source, evaluate, and manage UK and international suppliers

* Oversee imports, logistics, and customs compliance

* Act as the procurement and supply chain lead across the business

About You

* Proven experience in procurement and supply chain for technical or building products

* Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions-focused

* Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills

* Hands-on experience with international sourcing and logistics
