Product and Proposition Manager

We are looking for an experienced Proposition and Product Manager, who wants to get involved in helping shape and execute Foresters proposition strategy to join us on a 9 month fixed term contract.Your focus will be split between supporting new product and proposition development, together with in-cycle product management. Your day to day will include:Support/ manage the identification and ideation of new proposition and product opportunitiesSupport/ manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from idea and prototyping to launch and market successLead/ support the orchestration of product reviews for Foresters , maintaining a structured process and timeline. Ensuring all business requirements and timelines are considered to deliver effective product governanceRecommend and embed product governance principles and practices within the businessIdentify special needs of vulnerable customers, recommending business practices to deliver good customer outcomeCollection and analysis of relevant management information of products and business practicesLeverage data, customer insights, market research and regulations to inform business decision making and continuously improving our productsMake evidence-based recommendations for propositions and product management, which could include potential mitigating actionsPresent conclusions and findings in an engaging and easily understandable way for stakeholders at the right level for respective audiencesWork with our Compliance team in the identification and assessment of any risks that are identifiedChampion good customer outcomes and a customer-focussed culture in the organisationKeep up to date with FCA regulations, guidance and any industry best practice and share that learning with the Foresters teamWorking hours are 35 hours a week Monday to Friday. Start times can vary from 7.30am to 9.30am. After a successful training period there is flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week.What we requireStrong familiarity and experience in Financial ServicesSuccessful track record of bringing propositions to market and their life-cycle management. Previous product managementCommercial awareness and focus on the application of regulation within Financial ServicesUnderstanding and experience of Consumer Duty regulationsEvidence of a customer-focused mindset with proven ability to balance customer experience with commercial objectivesStrong communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated experience of applying strategic thinking balanced with deliveryEffective planning, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
