Data Product Manager

Salary: Up to £100,000 plus benefits

Location: Based in London - Hybrid 2 days a week


A leading global sports and entertainment brand is seeking a Data Product Manager to own the end to end product roadmap of their Customer Data Platform.


This is a unique opportunity to lead the data-driven product development at a global scale for a portfolio of leading market brands. You’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing and Product to fully engage their users and evolve their internal tooling systems that are instrumental in delivering value for their customers.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years in product management with 2-3 years focusing on data products.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of data modelling, management, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
  • Proven experience working with technical skills in product such as SQL, GCP, BigQuery and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of API Integrations and data privacy regulations.
  • Skilled in managing and influencing stakeholders, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Keen attention to problem solving, analytical, data-driven decision-making in Agile environments.
  • A bonus if you have a background of CDP platform experience, Python, sports media or betting industry background.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the product vision across their Customer Data Platform by setting the vision, strategy and priorities in line with business goals.
  • Gather and prioritise requirements from marketing, product, analytics, and oversee data integration ensuring quality, consistency, and completeness of data pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance and governance with data privacy regulations (GDPR).
  • Define how data can be integrated into internal products and existing tools to improve user experience, business value and customisation for their users.
  • Manage vendor relationships and engage stakeholders with clear, regular updates on the Customer Data Platform roadmap.
