Overview:
We are looking for a Product Owner / Product Manager with astrong background in fintech , particularly in client onboarding and customer journeys , to join their growing product team
My client is a leading player within the Payments space, with their modern office offering a bar, pool table and gym!
Youll play a key role in shaping, delivering, and optimising digital products that enable seamless onboarding and exceptional client experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who has around 2 + years of experience and is ready to take ownership of meaningful product areas while continuing to grow their skill set.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the product roadmap for onboarding and client-facing products
Translate business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer needs into clear product requirements
Lead discovery, definition, and delivery of onboarding journeys across web and mobile platforms
Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring a frictionless and compliant onboarding experience
Write and prioritise user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
Work closely with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, and Commercial teams
Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder reviews
Use data, customer feedback, and analytics to inform product decisions and continuous improvement
Ensure products meet regulatory and compliance standards relevant to fintech (e.g. KYC, AML)
Support go-to-market activities and post-launch optimisation
Required Experience & Skills
25 years experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product role
Proven experience working within fintech or financial services
Hands-on experience delivering client onboarding, KYC, account opening, or customer lifecycle products (Must have experience)
Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams
Ability to manage stakeholders and priorities effectively
Strong communication and documentation skills
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular office collaboration
Desirable
Experience working in regulated environments
Familiarity with KYC, AML, identity verification, or payments platforms
Background in B2B or B2B2C fintech products
Experience improving onboarding conversion, activation, or drop-off metrics
