In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and ensuring operational excellence of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. Acting as a strategic partner, you will align these initiatives with business objectives in a dynamic FMCG environment, delivering measurable value through close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
You will report directly to the IT & Data Director and have people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and operational excellence of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Define and implement IT infrastructure and cybersecurity strategies across manufacturing, logistics, and commercial domains.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, risk frameworks, and compliance programs (e.g., NIS2).
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts.
- Support agile, product-centric IT operations and support digital transformation initiatives.
- Deliver KPI dashboards and performance reports to executive leadership.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and training across the organization.
- Maintain documentation and evidence for audits, certifications, and internal reviews.
- Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and compliance teams to address findings and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and enforce IT policies, procedures, and access controls to ensure consistent compliance across environments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery strategies for all critical infrastructure systems.
- Ensure regular testing and validation of DR plans, including backup and restore procedures, failover systems, and recovery time objectives (RTOs).
- Collaborate with application owners and IT teams to ensure DR plans are aligned with business requirements.
- Maintain documentation of DR procedures and ensure they are up to date and accessible.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align IT and cybersecurity efforts with enterprise risk management.
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a high-performance culture through coaching, agile practices, and talent development.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Executive Leadership, Supply Chain, Legal, Compliance, HR, Finance, Manufacturing, Commercial, R&D IT) and external partners (e.g., regulatory bodies, auditors, technology vendors, cloud providers).
- Navigate key challenges, including complex hybrid/multi-cloud environments, evolving cybersecurity regulations, budget constraints, and cultural transformation toward agile, product-oriented IT.
About You
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with SAP, ERP integration, and enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, CMS, SFA/DMS).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2).
- Proven track record in managing complex IT ecosystems and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and cybersecurity tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
