Product Strategy Manager – Angel Court, London (Hybrid)
Permanent, Full‑time – 37.5 hours per week. Salary range: £70,000 – £75,000, depending on experience.
As a Product Strategy Manager at Bupa, you will shape the future of our UK insurance product portfolio, partnering with pricing, clinical, governance, operations and distribution teams to deliver customer‑centred, competitive, high‑value products and propositions.
Responsibilities
Shape and deliver clear product and proposition strategies that meet customer needs and support Bupa’s commercial goals.
Turn customer, market and competitor insight into practical recommendations that influence senior decision‑making.
Create compelling strategy papers and narratives to support product change, investment and prioritisation.
Work closely with pricing, clinical, governance and operational teams to ensure strategies are viable, compliant and deliver fair value.
Act as Product Lead on strategic initiatives, product improvements and regulatory projects.
Support broker tenders and new distribution opportunities with strong product insight and positioning.
Embed effective risk and incident thinking into strategy work, always focusing on good customer outcomes.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
Strong strategy experience – typically 3–5 years in roles where shaping direction and influencing decisions were core responsibilities.
Consultancy, in‑house strategy teams or start‑up backgrounds are particularly attractive.
Comfortable tackling complex, ambiguous problems and turning them into clear recommendations.
Product experience is helpful but not essential.

Confident operating independently – able to hit the ground running without close supervision.
Strong stakeholder‑management skills, with experience influencing senior and executive‑level audiences.
Clear thinking, sound judgement and a positive, adaptable mindset.
Line management experience is not required.
