Product Support Specialist – Coffee & Vending Equipment
Office-Based | West Midlands
£33,000 – £38,000 Basic + Benefits
We are recruiting for a Product Support Specialist to join a global manufacturer of professional coffee and vending equipment. The business supplies premium solutions into the HoReCa and Office Coffee Service sectors and has a strong reputation for innovation, quality and technical excellence.
This is a field-based role covering the West Midlands and surrounding areas, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology.
The Role
As a Product Support Specialist, you will be part of the UK Technical Team, providing expert on-site support to distributors, service partners and end users.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role combining fault finding, technical support, installation assistance and training delivery. You will act as a technical specialist, ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and customers receive a high standard of service.
There may be occasional travel within the UK, Ireland and Europe for training and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out on-site diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on coffee and vending equipment
- Support installations and commissioning of new equipment
- Deliver technical training to engineers and operators
- Provide remote and on-site technical support using telemetry systems
- Monitor machine performance data and assist with remote diagnostics
- Log and report technical cases accurately using internal systems
- Support trade shows, exhibitions and technical workshops where required
- Work closely with the Technical Manager and wider team to achieve service targets
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience repairing coffee machines, vending machines or similar electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Previous field-based technical support experience
- Good customer-facing communication skills
- Working knowledge of telemetry systems and remote machine monitoring
Desirable:
- Experience delivering technical training
- Familiarity with CRM or helpdesk systems
- Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
