About the Role:
A well-established FMCG manufacturing company in the Teesside area is seeking a skilled Production Engineer with strong electrical expertise. The successful candidate will support production operations, ensuring machinery and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery.
  • Support mechanical and process engineering teams as required.
  • Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Assist with the installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production engineering or maintenance role, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong electrical skills and the ability to carry out electrical duties safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work.
