Our client, a prominent player in the Manufacturing & Production industry, is seeking a talented Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis!

Purpose of the Role:
As the Production Manager, you will be at the forefront of manufacturing activities, ensuring that all products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. You'll lead a dedicated team, championing employee development and maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
Oversee the entire production process to ensure products meet specifications and output targets. Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Lead initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity across all product lines. Maintain systems for machinery cleaning and maintenance.Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled workforce, ensuring all operatives are competent in their roles. Manage Shift Managers to maximise team performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Foster a supportive environment for employee development, addressing performance issues constructively. Quality Assurance:
Uphold stringent quality standards, ensuring that all products meet the desired specifications. Conduct regular audits and proactively address any quality concerns. Safety First:
Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Lead safety communication and improvement initiatives, ensuring all employees are engaged and informed.
What We're Looking For:
Significant experience in factory or operations management within a multiline manufacturing environment Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make clear decisions Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid understanding of production machinery and equipment. Qualifications
A degree in Production, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field Relevant certifications such as CPIM or Level 3/5 Certificate in Operations Management are a plus.
