Echelon Engineers is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing processes across fabrication and assembly operations.The Role:You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure on-time delivery, quality standards, and efficiency targets are achieved while maintaining safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Follow and execute contract requirements in line with Master Production SchedulesInstruct production supervisors and employees to ensure optimum workforce planningMinimise production constraints through effective scheduling of resources and deploymentGenerate and release Production Works Orders using MRP and CRP systemsCoordinate with stores teams to collate scheduled work into component kits and sub-assembliesWork with purchasing departments to progress orders and ensure on-time deliveryManage shop floor data capture systems and ensure accurate time booking to contractsApprove overtime and collation of additional working hoursEnsure works orders are completed with accurate labour booking and material allocationConduct quality inspections and resolve manufacturing non-conformancesGenerate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing processesLead production meetings focusing on delivery performanceCreate a culture of continuous improvement and team collaborationRequirements:Proven experience in production management within manufacturingStrong knowledge of MRP and CRP systemsExcellent scheduling and planning capabilitiesLeadership experience with production teamsAbility to work under pressure while maintaining safety standardsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailWhat's on Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to make significant impact in dynamic manufacturing environmentReports to Operations DirectorInternal collaboration with sales, projects, engineering and design teamsExternal liaison with suppliers and customersFor more information about this role, please contact Echelon Engineers or apply asap to avoid missing out.JBRP1_UKTJ
