Staffline is recruiting candidates to work as a Production Operative within an abattoir environment at our clients' beef processing site.This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:- 6:30am to finish (around 1.30pm-2.30pmThe rate of pay is £13.59 per hour.Overtime is available and is paid at £17.00 per hour.Production bonuses ranging from £30 to £80 per week may be available based on performance!Duties to include packing tripe, weighing offal etc and trays can weigh 20-25kg.Your Time at WorkThe responsibilities of a Production Operative include:- Removing hides, heads and internal organs as required- Trimming and preparing carcasses for further processing, inspecting carcasses and identifying visible defects or contamination- Separating edible and non-edible by-products correctly- Maintaining the cleanliness of the workstation during operations- Following food safety, hygiene and biosecurity procedures- Working in line with health and safety regulations- Wearing required protective clothing and PPE at all timesOur Perfect WorkerOur ideal Production Operative will be flexible, reliable, and keep in line with health and safety standards.
