Production Operative – Sheetmetal

Location: Thurrock

Salary: £31,000 - £36,000 depending on experience

We’re recruiting on behalf of a manufacturer of industrial steel shutters and doors based in Thurrock.

The role: You’ll be working in a busy workshop environment, helping with:

* Cutting metal to size (using saws, grinders, etc.)

* General labouring and workshop duties

* Operating fabrication machinery (press brake, guillotine, rollers, etc.)

* Measuring, marking, cutting, and assembling materials

* Quality control

What we’re looking for:

* Experience cutting metal in a workshop or similar environment

* Happy with hands-on, physical work

* Reliable, with a good work ethic

* Willing to be trained in QC

Important: Due to limited public transport, you must be a driver or have your own transport to get to site
