Production Operative

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their team.
>> NOTE: This is a temporary contract for 4 months. A permanent role, or extension of the contract is not guaranteed at this time, but may change in the future depending on business needs. <<
Salary: £16.18 an hour (this includes the shift allowance)
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts, Days and Nights on rotation (5.30am – 5.30pm / 5.30pm – 5.30am)
PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
* You have extensive experience in a Production / Manufacturing company in a similar hands-on manufacturing role.
* You drive and have your own transport (Essential due to the location of the company).
* You are willing to work the shifts shown above.
Responsibilities:
* As a Production Operative, you will operate as a flexible, co-operative and effective team member in order to meet factory production demands, ensuring that customer needs are always met.
* You will strive to consistently meet production targets whilst at the same time ensuring that work always adheres to the required quality standards.
* To constructively participate in team meetings and team briefings, always looking for continuous improvement.
* Assist in the training and development of new starters.
