Arbor Forest Products Ltd is currently seeking Production Operatives to join our team on a temporary basis for a 6-month period. This role involves working on a rotating two-shift pattern within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Working under the instruction of the Machinist and Shift Supervisor
Ticketing and processing customer orders
Skidding and stacking of packs
Carrying out daily housekeeping duties
Operating in-house machinery, including shrink-wrap machines and Forklift Truck (FLT) - if trained
Reporting maintenance and quality issues as required
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Supporting machinery operation during busy periods, including overtime where required
Providing holiday and sickness cover when necessary
During peak periods, flexibility may be required, including changes to shift patterns and potential night shift working.

Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (desirable)
Forklift or counterbalance licence (desirable)
Basic numeracy and English skills
In-house machine training will be provided
