Production Operative Required!

BE recruitment is currently recruiting for a production operative for a manufacturing client based in LE19 area. A Production Operative will be responsible for preparing materials for either painting or welding. This will include operating machinery and using numerous power and hand tools.

Pay:

£14.37 P/H.

Hours:

Monday - Friday | 07:30 - 16:00

Key responsibilities:

Cutting pipe using Chop Saws, Grinders and Drills to create parts specified
Fettling and cleaning items
Use of hand tools such as grinders and orbitals
Cleaning of saw room and maintenance of all machines in the saw room
Swaging of parts to required measurements
Drilling and deburring items ready for painting
Maintaining the highest possible standard of work
Understanding of angles and trajectory
Packing away of raw materials that have been delivered
Assist in Glue when required
