We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading and prestigious manufacturing company based in Snetterton, Norfolk. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking to employ a Production Operative/Machine Operator.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm.

Reporting directly to Warehouse/Production Manager
Responsibilities and duties include:
Responsible for all aspects of assessment and repair including chairs and sofas, pelmets, headboards, and any other repairs required. To assist production assembling furniture and the manufacturing of pelmets and headboards. Assisting with upholstery where required.
Take responsibility for your own performance and behaviours.
Highlight any potential problems prior to them occurring where possible. To follow the schedule as set out by the Supervisor/Manager.
Improve efficiencies, processes, and quality.
Ensure the Workshop area is clean and tidy at the end of the shift.
Ensure all jobs are to specification, quantity, and quality. Make sure packaging is suitable, improve where possible.
Ensure we produce goods with 100% accuracy, reporting any issues.
Ensure H & S standards are always maintained.
Ensure equipment checks are maintained and carried out as required. To be used by trained personnel only. Turn off equipment before leaving.
To help and support in all aspects of the warehouse. To maintain standards and company values.
Assist and carry out work to improve processes and procedures. To be flexible and positive in all situations.
Requirements for the role:
Excellent communication skills
Experience of using hand and power tools
Previous manufacturing experience
DIY, Carpentry skills a definite advantage for this role.
Excellent attention to detail
