We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Night-shift Process Operator. This is full time 6 months contract position with a view of going permanent for the right candidate and working for very well established international company.

Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.\n\nWe currently have 6 months contract position for Night-shift Process Operator . \n\n£32,500 per year \n\nSunday to Thursday\n\n10pm - 6am\n\nExcellent company benefits package \n\nYou will be flexible and must be able to work the shift pattern detailed above. Full training will be provided.\n\nThe Main responsibilities will include:\n\nManufacturing and Dispensing functions for Dry and Wet Production.\nAdherence with manufacturing schedules.\nCompliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policy as well as contribution to Business Excellence/Continuous Improvement initiatives.\nTo carry out any specific tasks as requested by Plant Shift Supervisor, Deputy and Manager.Responsibilities & Duties:\n\nManufacture and dispense batches for Dry and Wet dispersions ensuring compliance with schedules, these tasks may include regular lifting of 25kg boxes.\nAccurate completion of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and other associated documentation.\nAdherence with GMP, ISO and EHS standards.\nDay to day interaction with Quality Control and other departments where appropriate.\nContribute to housekeeping and general upkeep of Plant.\nEnsure any 'At Risk' orders or issues related to Production are brought to the attention of Plant Shift Supervisor or Deputy.\nSupport with initiatives related to Continuous Improvement.\nTake reasonable care for their own health and safety and consider the health and safety of others who may be affected, as well as the environment, by their acts or omissions.\nReport all EHS/QA incidents so they can be investigated, and corrective and preventative actions put in place.\nSuggest ways in which EHS/QA performance could be improved.\nCarry out any additional duties as requested by the Manager, Supervisor or Deputy of your department; these duties may be situated in other departments within Operations.Candidates should have a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, but previous experience of the job is welcomed.

An ability to work within a team, be highly motivated and have a flexible approach with plenty of initiative are also required. It is essential too that candidates are computer literate in Excel and Word. It would be desirable to have experience of continuous improvement initiatives and working with automated systems.
