Production Planner ?? Leicester ?? £24,000 £27,000 (DOE) ?? Monday to Friday An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Production Planner to join its team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with basic production or manufacturing administration experience looking to develop their career within a stable and supportive environment. The Role You will be working closely with the production team, ensuring orders are processed and updated accurately within the companys ERP system. Key responsibilities include: Updating and maintaining the ERP system Processing repeat production orders Monitoring job progress on the production floor Liaising with production staff regarding order status Ensuring accurate data entry and system updates Supporting day-to-day production administration This is a hands-on, floor-based role where attention to detail and organisation are key. What Were Looking For Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment Exposure to ERP/MRP systems (Sage, SAP, Syspro or similar beneficial) Strong attention to detail Comfortable working within a production environment Organised and reliable This role would suit a Production Administrator, Planning Assistant, or Manufacturing Administrator looking to step into a Production Planner position. Full training will be provided on internal systems and processes.
