Production Planner – Manufacturing | Salary £38 – 45k + benefits | Location Croydon, South London Our client is a well-established, global manufacturing business operating within a specialist, high-performance environment. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Production Planner to manage short-term production scheduling within a key part of the operation. This is a permanent opportunity offering strong long-term development within a growing international organisation. Production Planner – The Role You will manage short-term production plans across a 0–4 week horizon, ensuring customer demand is met while maintaining operational efficiency. Working closely with production, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams, you will play a key role in coordinating schedules, monitoring performance, and managing risks across the planning cycle. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain production schedules aligned to demand Monitor schedule adherence and resolve delays or risks Work closely with production and operational teams to ensure delivery Communicate effectively with logistics and customer service Monitor stock levels and support inventory planning Manage finished goods and quarantine stock Highlight capacity constraints and operational issues Track and report on planning performance About You You will have experience in a production planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment and be comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting. Experience in production planning or supply chain coordination Understanding of manufacturing processes ERP or MRP system experience and strong Excel skills Good organisation and attention to detail Clear communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive and solution-focused approach This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business in a role offering real ownership and progression.
