We are seeking a Production Supervisor (Conversion) to join a dynamic and growing team in Gloucester.The RoleAs Production Supervisor, you will take ownership of the conversion production schedule, ensuring efficient operations, optimal machine utilisation, and seamless coordination across departments. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive performance, maintain high safety standards, and support continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and adapt the Conversion Production schedule in line with operational demandsDefine and meet order deadlines in collaboration with planning teamsOptimise machine and shop floor capacity based on order volumesCoordinate closely with Extrusion, Maintenance, Logistics, Technical Service, and SEP teamsSupport the installation and commissioning of new machinery alongside technical teamsOversee equipment maintenance within your area of responsibilityValidate departmental working hours and ensure accurate reportingAct as a key communication link across teams and managementParticipate in recruitment processes and team developmentAnalyse and resolve operational, organisational, and team-related challengesSupervise forklift operations and plan workloads in collaboration with logisticsContribute to risk assessments and maintain a strong safety cultureAbout YouNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)Relevant technical qualificationStrong knowledge of conversion processesProven experience in product conversion environmentsMinimum 5 years' experience in manufacturingExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary of £41,520Stable day shift patternOpportunity to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environmentCareer progression and development opportunitiesIf you're ready to take the next step in your manufacturing leadership career, we'd love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
