Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?Impact are partnered with a well-established engineering business in Daventry who pride themselves on delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are now looking for a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor to join the team on a 3-month FTC.This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of production, ensuring targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pmLocation: DaventryPay: £35,000Contract: 3-month FTCResponsibilities:Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the shopfloorEnsure all staff are equipped with works orders, SOPs, and required resourcesMaintain a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment at all timesAllocate labour and resources to meet production plans and targetsMonitor team performance to ensure efficiency and productivityEnsure all products are correctly identified and located on the shopfloorConduct stock checks and monitor production indicatorsLiaise with internal departments to resolve production and planning issuesWork closely with operatives to support output and quality standardsChallenge non-conformance and implement corrective actionsReport machinery breakdowns and liaise with maintenance teamsDrive continuous improvement across processes and productivityEnsure dispatch deadlines and internal delivery processes are metPromote high standards of behaviour and performance across the teamRequired Skills:Strong leadership and people management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilityAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong communication and organisational skillsHands-on approach with a 'can-do' attitudeGood understanding of production processesRequired Qualifications & Experience:Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturingBackground in high-volume production environments (automotive preferred)Experience managing teams and driving performanceUnderstanding of health & safety and operational complianceIT literate with the ability to manage basic systems and reportingIf you are a driven and hands-on supervisor looking to make an impact within a growing manufacturing business, then please apply with an up-to-date CV.Impact are working on behalf of a client as a Recruitment Business.JBRP1_UKTJ
