Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join their growing team, close to Farnborough.
The Team Leader will be responsible for the Paint shop and lead a team of 5 people working in the team.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day people management, including performance appraisals and identifying training requirements. The Team Leader is responsible for developing plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment.
Duties & responsibilities:
Ensuring the lean principles are embedded in the department and providing continuous improvement solutions
Ensuring production efficiencies are communicated throughout the team and that they are met in line with staffing levels available
Ensuring staffing levels are reviewed periodically and action is taken to meet the forward production plan
Communicating clearly and effectively with your team to ensure they are aware of production priorities, and the schedule is being adhered to, in conjunction with the Factory plan.
Ensuring quality standards are communicated throughout the team and are adhered to at all times
Ensuring all health & safety requirements are communicated and adhered to.
