Job Role: Production/Planning Engineer\n\nLocation: Coventry\n\nSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum\n\nMetalis are working exclusively with a precision engineering company in Coventry (CV6), who are looking for a Production/Planning Engineer to join their team.\n\nJob Duties:\n\nUnderstand the company quality systems and improve with the managers and directors\nPreparation of quotations as required\nOrganisation of engineering drawing systems\nPreparation of spreadsheets for costing and budget analysis purposes\nMaintaining existing and setting up new supplier relationships\nPreparation and issuing of Purchase Orders to suppliers\nPhoning suppliers to request quotations, preparation and sending of Requests For Quotations to suppliers.\nDesign and control of inspection procedures in conjunction with the quality manager and the presentation of inspection data to customers\nProcess planning of those parts to be operated by ourselves\nAssistance with packing and dispatch as and when required\nCustomer and supplier site visits will be required\nIdentification of parts shortages and chasing up shortages, ordering missing items etc.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience with materials processing\nEngineering degree or qualification (HND/HNC/ONC/C&G) qualification is \nPurchasing experience within engineering\n\nSalary & Shift:\n\n£35,000 - £40,000 per annum\nMonday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm\n\nIf this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV
