We are recruiting for a Programme Manager contractor to start ASAP. Join us and help fulfil our mission to close the world's digital skills gap.Role Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Programme Manager to lead multiple workstreams within a fast-paced Generative AI Implementation. The successful candidate will operate independently to identify and resolve delivery challenges, enabling smooth progress across various teams and priority areas.Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting release management activities to ensure timely and controlled delivery
- Navigating internal governance processes to facilitate change approvals and compliance
- Collaborating with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, and Technical Leads to escalate and resolve blockers impacting delivery
- Managing dependencies across multiple programmes and teams to maintain alignment and mitigate risks
- Supporting team delivery planning, ensuring resources and priorities are effectively coordinated
- Providing clear and timely reporting of progress, risks, and delivery milestones to senior leadership
- Enabling Lab Leads and senior stakeholders to focus on strategic planning by alleviating operational delivery pressures
- Driving continuous improvement in programme delivery practices and governance
- Maintaining strong relationships across stakeholders and SMEs across the programme
Proven experience managing complex programmes involving multiple teams and delivery streams - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience in release management and navigating governance frameworks
- Ability to identify risks and blockers proactively and drive resolution
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a minimum on-site commitment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including technical and business roles
- A self-starter mindset with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
