We are looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join our finance team, supporting the commercial and financial performance of projects across the business.\n\nThis is a hands-on, commercially focused role ideally suited to someone with experience in events or project-based environments who enjoys partnering with stakeholders across the business.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPartner with Project Managers, Account Directors, and Heads of Division on all commercial aspects of projects\nPrepare and manage client and project budgets, working closely with Project Managers\nMonitor and maximise gross profit and margin, ensuring strong financial performance\nPerform job and client profitability analysis\nReview client Master Service Agreements, contracts, and payment schedules\nManage and minimise foreign exchange risk on projects\nRun monthly financial reviews and client services teams\nProduce accurate reporting using the Maconomy system\nManage project billing and oversee project cashflow reporting\nSupport forecasting and budgeting of all project-related financials\nContribute to the development and enhancement of Maconomy as a project management and reporting tool\nWork closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Director to drive profitability, cashflow, and margin optimisationRequirement\n\nPart Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent\nProven experience in events project accounting or project-based finance roles\nStrong management accounting background\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the businessBy applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
