Project Construction Manager

We are currently undertaking the exciting project of building a 1700 m² house from the ground up. We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
- oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction project, from initiation to execution and completion.
- plan, blueprint reading, direct and manage the project, ensuring it stays on budget and schedule.
- handle the preparation and review of project bids and the negotiation and management of subcontractor contracts.
- ensure the successful execution of construction projects
- execute the control and compliance with safety regulations, ensuring projects meet contractual and legal requirements.
- work closely with stakeholders, including the client, architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors, in order to define project objectives, establish timelines, allocate resources and manage budgets.
Requirements and skills
- Education in Civil Engineering, Construction management or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as construction project manager for residential projects, preferably with houses of the same size (min 2000sq.m).
- Experience as a General Contractor
- Experience in overseeing the project from start to finish (including cooperation with structural engineer, arquitecture, mechanical engineering, finishing, etc)
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles, blueprint reading
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Good knowledge of MS Project
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
