Following the recent award of a new framework, our Manchester based client is looking for a "hands on" proactive Project Controls Manager to join their team. As Project Controls Manager, you will lead a small team of project controls professionals across a wide spectrum of large-scale programmes spanning airport expansion, rail networks, energy projects, nuclear facilities, and defence initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee project controls activities including planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management Collaborate with project teams and clients to develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Provide accurate progress reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators to stakeholders Identify project risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation and contingency measures Lead a team of project controls professionals, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency Support decision-making through detailed analysis of project data and trends Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and best practices Manage multiple projects across different sectors including airport, rail, energy, nuclear, and defence markets Job Requirements: Significant experience in project controls within large infrastructure projects Understanding of project scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting techniques Experience working in sectors such as airport, energy, nuclear, or rail is highly desirable Strong leadership and team management skills Proficiency with project controls software and tools Ability to work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant degree or professional qualification in project management or a related field Benefits: Opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects across key markets Supportive environment with professional development opportunities Collaborative team culture suited for career growth If you have a strong background in project controls and are ready to lead major infrastructure initiatives across the UK, apply now to join our client's dynamic team.
