Job Description
My client is looking for a projects co-ordinator to join the team structured around Facilities Management, building services and full MEP projects. This opportunity will see you developing your current skills, learning new skills and being supported so that with business growth, you will be in-line for the opportnity to progress your career.\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are seeking a hard-working, ambitious, and career-driven Project Co-Ordinator to join our growing team based in Portsmouth. This is a permanent, office-based role supporting the delivery of projects primarily within the Facilities Management (FM) sector, although experience within M&E Construction or Fit-Out environments will also be considered.\n\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Project Managers and the wider operations team, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
This position offers excellent scope for progression as the business continues to grow, making it ideal for someone motivated to build a long-term career.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProject Administration & Support\n\nProvide day-to-day administrative support to Project Managers\n\nAssist with project setup, tracking, and close-out activities\n\nMaintain accurate project records and documentation\n\nSubcontractor & Supplier Management\n\nSupport the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers\n\nAssist with onboarding, documentation collection, and compliance checks\n\nLiaise with suppliers regarding orders, delivery times, and queries\n\nClient Communication & Support\n\nAct as a point of contact for clients regarding project updates and queries\n\nSupport client reporting and general communication\n\nMaintain a professional and responsive service at all times\n\nSystem Administration (CAFM / CRM)\n\nMaintain and update project data within internal systems\n\nUse CAFM / CRM platforms to log jobs, update progress, and manage records\n\nJoblogic experience is beneficial, but not essential\n\nProgramme & Resourcing Support\n\nAssist with programme scheduling and resource planning\n\nCoordinate diaries, labour allocation, and key milestones\n\nMonitor progress and flag potential issues to Project Managers\n\nGeneral Administration & Business Support\n\nProvide wider administrative support to the business as required\n\nAssist with reporting, document control, and internal coordination\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nEssential\n\n * Experience in a Project Co-ordinator, Project Administrator, or similar role\n\n * Background within Facilities Management, M&E Construction, or Fit-Out\n\n * Strong organisational and administrative skills\n\n * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal\n\n * Confident working with IT systems and Microsoft Office\n\nDesirable\n\n * Experience using CAFM or CRM systems (Joblogic advantageous but not essential)\n\n * Knowledge of Health & Safety processes within construction or FM environments\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\n * Hard-working and reliable\n\n * Ambitious, motivated, and driven\n\n * Eager to learn and develop professionally\n\n * Career-focused with a desire to progress as the business grows\n\n * Able to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Competitive salary dependent on experience (DOE)\n\n * Permanent, stable position within a growing business\n\n * Clear opportunities for career progression and development\n\n * Supportive and professional working environment\n\nIf you feel like your are ready to take on a strong opportunity like this, challenge your self and find a palce of work where you are not only valued, but rewarded for your work. please apply with your most up to date CV and contact number and we will be in contact as soon as possible
