About Stellar Engineering

Stellar Engineering is a specialist engineering design consultancy delivering high-quality piping design solutions to the semiconductor, pharmaceutical and data centre sectors across Europe. We are entering a significant growth phase, with multiple major projects underway, including large-scale fabrication-level detailing (LOD 300–450). We are strengthening our project delivery team and are seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful execution of complex engineering projects.


The Role

Your will support the delivery of engineering design projects from initiation through to fabrication issue.

This is a hands-on coordination role – you will work closely with design teams, project managers, and clients to ensure deliverables are produced on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.

You will play a key role in maintaining programme alignment, technical coordination, and smooth project execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support project lifecycle delivery (engineering design scope)
  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project programmes
  • Coordinate design teams across live projects
  • Support weekly project delivery meetings and action tracking
  • Assist with client communication and reporting
  • Monitor scope changes and support change management processes
  • Identify project risks and escalate where required
  • Track progress against deliverables and milestones
  • Support coordination of LOD 300 to LOD 450 transitions
  • Ensure design output readiness for fabrication


Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in engineering project delivery or design coordination
  • Background in EPC/EPCM or specialist design consultancy environments
  • Experience working on piping-heavy or process-driven projects
  • Understanding of fabrication-level detailing
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Good client-facing communication skills
  • Commercial awareness


Desirable

  • Semiconductor / Pharma / Data Centre experience
  • Experience in high-spec clean utility environments
