This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company, working as a Project Engineer specialising in Pile Cloth Filter (PCF) systems.
In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Project Engineer to manage service contracts across multiple water companies in the South and Midlands. This is your chance to lead the way in maintaining, optimising, and ensuring the reliability of PCF systems. From coordinating service schedules to troubleshooting complex issues, your technical expertise will be crucial to delivering high-quality service and driving continuous improvements in operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the action. Here's a look at what you'll be doing:
·Service Contract Management: Take charge of the management of all service activities related to pile cloth filter systems, including routine inspections, refurbishments, and reactive maintenance.
·Coordination & Planning: Collaborate with the planning team to organise site visits, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient workload distribution for the service team.
·Technical Oversight: Act as the go-to technical expert for PCF-related inquiries, providing guidance on system performance, troubleshooting, optimisation, and compliance with industry standards.
·Problem-Solving & Support: Identify and resolve technical issues, whether mechanical, electrical, or process-related, to ensure efficient system performance.
·Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all service activities, preparing reports, asset condition assessments, refurbishment proposals, and client updates.
·Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in line with health and safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
What You'll Be Working With
You will be working with a variety of innovative equipment, including state-of-the-art PCF systems, wastewater treatment technologies, and electrical control systems. Your role will offer hands-on experience with advanced machinery while also contributing to the environmental sustainability of the projects you work on.

Essential Skills and Experience
·Experience in the water and/or wastewater industry.
·Strong technical knowledge of filtration systems and wastewater treatment processes.
·Problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
·Excellent organisational and planning skills.
·Strong communication skills, both written and in client-facing environments.
·Full UK Driving Licence.

·CSCS Card
·Confined Space Certification
·National Water Hygiene (EUSR)
·Thames Water Passport
·SHEA Water
·SMSTS
·CDM Awareness
·HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
