This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of complex engineering projects from concept through to delivery — combining hands-on technical leadership with project management responsibility. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance systems that push the limits of innovation, reliability, and precision.

The Role

As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a key part in the delivery of cutting-edge systems across automotive and motorsport programmes. * Managing technical interfaces with suppliers and procurement teams

* Conducting validation testing, data analysis, and performance reviews

* Supporting on-site installations and ensuring scope is accurately captured and managed

* Working collaboratively across engineering disciplines to ensure aligned and compliant solutions

* Identifying and mitigating project risks and supporting continuous improvement in processes and methodologies

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and schematic drawings

* Strong technical documentation and specification authoring skills

* Proven experience commissioning and testing mechanical/electrical systems

* Knowledge of requirements management and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

* A proactive, analytical approach with a strong sense of ownership

Desirable:

* Experience with 3D or Electrical CAD systems

* Familiarity with servo and PLC-driven systems

* DFMEA experience

What You Can Expect

* Direct involvement in the design and delivery of innovative, high-performance engineering systems

* Exposure to complex projects within the automotive and motorsport sectors

* Collaboration with highly skilled specialists across mechanical, electrical, and control engineering

* Opportunities to shape processes, influence design outcomes, and lead technical delivery

* A supportive and dynamic environment that encourages ownership, learning, and professional growth

Qualifications

* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Automotive, Motorsport or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent)

* Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer status is advantageous
