Project Planning & Coordination · Develop project schedules and milestones · Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, and suppliers · Review project scope and ensure alignment with client requirements · Attend project meetings and provide technical input 2. Technical Oversight · Review and validate HVAC designs and drawings · Ensure compliance with codes, standards (e.g., Dw144), and specifications · Approve equipment selections and submittals · Resolve technical issues during design and construction phases 3. Site Execution & Supervision · Monitor installation activities for quality and safety · Conduct site inspections and verify work against drawings · Coordinate commissioning and testing of HVAC systems · Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment 4. Documentation & Reporting · Maintain project documentation (RFIs, change orders, progress reports) · Prepare handover documents and O&M manuals · Track project costs and support budget control · Report progress to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed 5. Client & Stakeholder Engagement · Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and expectations · Provide technical presentations and updates · Manage client feedback and ensure satisfaction · Support post-installation troubleshooting and warranty issues Experience, Skills & Qualifications • A minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Excellent knowledge in design and fabrication/assembly of packaged plant rooms – structural, piping, maintainability, transportation etc • Modular design and manufacture • Awareness of industry standards and legislation including CE marking • Customer facing, with high degree of commercial awareness • Understanding of requirements management and configuration and change management • Ideally experienced in HVAC design and design of bespoke mechanical equipment in Nuclear applications • Tendering and delivery through the full project lifecycle
