The Projecting Engineering Lead is responsible for overseeing the engineering team on site Capital Projects, ensuring all work aligns with site standards and supports the Capital Plan.
In this role you will…
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team on Capital Projects, providing clear direction, support, and performance management for discipline engineers in line with business objectives.
- Offer technical leadership to ensure all projects comply with global and site engineering standards as well as the Project Management Framework.
- Allocate and coordinate engineering resources within the team, collaborating with other business areas when additional expertise is needed.
- Support the Capital Projects Operations Manager and EPCM Service Provider in project prioritisation to achieve successful delivery of Capital Projects.
- Liaise with business units and EPCM partners to accurately capture, specify, and validate engineering requirements throughout the full project lifecycle, from URB to handover and qualification.
- Monitor and report on project status, resource allocation, and potential shortfalls, proposing mitigation plans to ensure timely Capital Projects completion.
Why you?
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified to HNC level in appropriate discipline
- Significant experience within a multi discipline project management team
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in the use of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel applications.
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (cGMP and QMS) environment
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- University Degree or equivalent
