Project Lead / Analyst
£60-£70k + Excellent benefits
Location: Exeter UK / Hampton USA / Cleveland USA
Travel: Up to 25%

We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and highly organised IGT Segment Analyst / Project Lead to support strategic growth initiatives within a fast-growing, technically advanced industrial gas turbine business.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and project teams, you will provide project management, procurement coordination, and business analysis to ensure growth plans are delivered with precision and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination
Support day-to-day project activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Assist with project planning, timelines, scope definition, and resource forecasting.
Ensure compliance with internal governance, procurement standards, and quality expectations.
Data & Business Analysis
Collect, validate, and interpret performance data across cost, schedule, capacity, and resource utilisation.
Analyse capacity and bottlenecks across locations and evaluate business cases for growth.
Develop dashboards and reports that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Conduct root-cause analysis and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Review financial performance including RONA and global P&L to support strategic decisions.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project documentation including charters, schedules, risk logs, and procurement records.
Prepare structured status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure documentation accuracy and version control.
Monitoring & Governance
Track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
Identify risks and issues early, supporting mitigation planning.
Monitor budgets, validate vendor invoices, and ensure financial alignment.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as a communication bridge between project teams and stakeholders.
Facilitate feedback loops and support change management activities.
Prepare communication materials and help teams adapt to new processes.
Candidate Profile
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management or analyst roles.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Qualifications
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical capability with experience producing metrics and reports.
Strong problem-solving skills to support business planning and strategy deployment.
Effective communicator with the ability to work in a matrix organisation.
